Salary: £30 000 - £45 000 pa + company car + fuel card + over time

About the role:

 

We are looking for an industrial/ commercial Installation Engineer that is experienced, flexible, highly motivated and capable of working under their own initiative and as part of a team. Possessing a good understanding of all major pipe work and instrumentation. We would encourage candidates with the following gas certifications to apply:  ACS, COCN1, TPCP1, CIGA1, ICPN1 OR F Gas.

Job description:

 

  • Installation and maintenance of specialty gas cylinders.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of plant operations.
  • Availability for plant breakdown call-outs.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of liquid & gaseous installations.
  • Assist with the pre delivery inspections and back feed assessments of CO2 customers.
  • Maintain all relevant documentation relating to site maintenance work, including the development update of the plant maintenance procedures.
  • Support the Operations department in the planning & execution of routine and breakdown maintenance of CO2 installations.
  • Writing and checking Standard Operating Procedure for Works & Review Risk Assessment & Method Statement creation.
  • Adhering & complying to all regulatory safety rules on all responsible sites.

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • You will need to have 3 years or more experience with industrial or commercial installations. 
  • Experience with any of the following valves - gate, needle, globe, ball , butterfly, actuated on/off, solenoid, self-acting regulating AND the following strainers - conical, Y-type or reducer.
  • Experience with relevant environmental factors such as high pressures and vacuum.
  • Fluent English communications skills – verbal and written.
  • UK Driving License – clean.
  • Be able to operate SMART devices and complete electronic documentation.
  • Knowledge in managing operational safety/risk assessment.
