Title: Design Engineer – Wastewater

Location: Hybrid (3 days - Surrey)

Salary: Up to £65,000 + Benefits

About the Role

We’re hiring a Wastewater Design Engineer to lead S104 design approvals, ensuring networks are compliant, adoptable, and aligned with Sewer Sector Guidance.

Work across the full lifecycle (design, construction, adoption) within a growing multi-utility NAV business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead S104 assessments & sewer design approvals
Ensure compliance with industry standards, legislation & ESPUG policies
Liaise with developers, consultants & construction partners
Provide technical support across design & construction phases
Support commissioning, KPIs & operational readiness
Contribute to SOPs, standards & continuous improvement

Requirements

Experience in wastewater design / sewerage / new developments
Strong knowledge of S104, Sewer Sector Guidance & NAV processes
Background in consultancy, developer services, or utilities
Understanding of design, construction & adoption lifecycle
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement & problem solving
